Thank you for participating in the Parent Workshop on Tuesday evening.  Ms Susan did an awesome job of giving a brief overview of Montessori Math and Language curricula in one afternoon.   There were good questions regarding knowing which lessons come next, how do the students go about choosing their lessons, which lesson is which, how is reading taught, etc.  Ms Susan demonstrated many of the lessons from both curricula: language – language boxes, sandpaper letters, CVC word matching, matching pictures to words to objects, moveable alphabet, grammar analysis.  Math – golden bead material, place value, stamp game, skip counting, squaring, checker board, geometry, constructive triangles.  Thank you for coming to learn more about what your child is learning every day, as well as what is available for them as they continue to grow in this environment.
