About this event:

Several students are super involved and excited about their work with the aqueduct. They continued to fine tune the slope of the aqueduct by adding and taking away wooden blocks until the water flowed freely to reach the garden. Mr. Charlie has suggested an additional add on to the aqueduct that will allow the water to cover a larger area of the garden! We dicussed that although it was a success to construct the aqueduct.. we have run out of PVC pipe and do not want to keep moving our aqueduct and reconstructing in order to adequately get water to the entire garden. One student asked “Why can’t Mrs. Cam bring some more PVC pipe?” This is an opportunity to problem solve and figure the best way to utilize the materials that we currently have in order to achieve the greatest results.
