The children were introduced to a valentine song:

“1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,  Where are my friends, here, here, my friends are here.”

yi, er, san, siu, wu. liu. ji.  Wo da pong you, zai na li.  Zai ji li, Zai, ji li. Wa da pong you, zai ji li.

They also revised how to write and count the months of the year.  They were introduced to how to write and say ‘day and night’.  In Chinese, ‘day’ is literally ‘white sky’ ie ‘bai tian’.  Likewise, ‘night’ is ‘black sky’ ie ‘hei tian’  We also learned how to say the date ‘1-14-16’ is ” one moon, ten and 4 day, ten and six year, ‘yi yu, shi su re, shi liu nian’.
