This morning we skyped with Mrs. Kam. She is visiting Montego Bay, Jamaica.  What a great way to end our study of water! She showed us the beach, the shoreline and the water and all the creatures that were around at the time. She walked along the bay and over to the ocean side and showed us how the shores are different. On the bay side there is a gently sloping sandy beach but on the ocean side there is a steep rocky drop off. The rocks protect the shore from erosion caused by wind and waves. We could hear a cat meowing for a while because one was following her around during our tour. She showed us many shells, a little hermit crab, fish swimming near by in the clear water and coconuts growing on the beach. Visit the blog for more info.  It was great!

We had fun with our friends this morning!
