Parents joined their children at Chinese class today. Here are some of of the characters that were introduced: shan (mountain), yu (rain), yui (cloud), dian (lightening), feng (wind), shui (water). We continued reviewing the friends song in addition to reciting and writing numbers. Drawing characters are a much more inviting to students who are intimidated by writing letters. Please encourage your children to practice writing. In Chinese, drawing characters go from right to left and from up to down.
