Welcome Parents!  We have an exciting program set up for another great year at The Children’s House.  I’ve had requests to provide a guideline on the best ways to prepare young children for school.  Here are a few tips that we think will be helpful to you:

1. Love but Limit presents practical and realistic advice for adults interacting with children.  You may want to share this with other members of your family.

2. The Welcome Letter, lists out main characteristics essential for maintaining a good foundation for learning.

3.  The August Curriculum contains a guideline of preparation.  The monthly curriculum will contain a parent guide to skills you may want to work on at home.  It will be complimenting the skills we will be working on at school.
