About this event:

I’m taking it a little easier this year. For those of you who volunteered last year with the construction of our deck, you will know what I mean.

Our school project is used as a time for the school community to gather to meet old and new faces, and to work and play and eat a little.  The outdoor area is always in need of beautifying and upkeep.  Here are some of the tasks that we will be working on:

• planting flowers
• weeding the gardens
• trimming the ‘Dark Forest’
• removing low lying branches and dead limbs
• pressure washing the front area
• inspecting and repairing the equipment for safety

Tools and water will be supplied,  I don’t have a pressure washer, so if someone has one to lend or use, that would be greatly appreciated..  Mike and Ed’s for dinner.  If you are not able to participate this time around, have no fear, there’ll be other opportunities for you and your family to help make your child’s school a safe place to learn and play.
