Monday:Books: “Arctic Babies” and “Goodnight Already!”, video of very young polar bear cub at Columbus zoo and aquarium.

Tuesday: Book: “Soup Day”, Arctic Circle map (water colored), Arctic/Antarctic Song introduction.

Wednesday: “Owl Moon”, video of Arctic/Antarctic song (available on YouTube [3-2-1-Contact]). Arctic animals coloring sheets (to be colored as realistically as possible). Walk/Crawl, Fly, or Swim sorting activity.

Thursday: “The Quilt Story”, walk/crawl, fly, or swim sorting, parts of the tooth with examples of real teeth. We solved the mystery of whether mice and skunks are hibernators or not. Skunks hibernate but are not true hibernators and mice do not hibernate.

Friday: “Arctic Tern Migration”, painted eggs, seashell ball, ocean book, Arctic/Antarctic song.
