We had a visitor, Mr. Bayne Cranford. He came to tell us about Hawaii, Sharks, and Geology. He told us about how he lived in Hawaii when he was a boy in 1947. He named to islands and told us a fact or story about each one. Mr. Cranford told us about the 3 most dangerous sharks: Great Whites, Tigers, and Bull Sharks. He told us how big they can be, where they live and distinct characteristics they have. Mr. Cranford was a geologist. He told us about the difference between rocks and minerals, the layers of the earth and about volcanoes. The students were fascinated and asked good questions. We enjoyed having Mr. Cranford visit us!
