About this event:

This afternoon we talked about what is a recipe. A student replied “it is the instructions that tells you how to make something!” We practice following precise instructions in art so the children are well versed and put their practice to use with the Blueberry Cobbler in the crockpot. The lesson gave the students a chance utilize some of the blueberries picked on Friday and to share what they did with their blueberries over the weekend. One student said “I made Blueberry scones!” We talked about measuring a cup of dry ingredients and a 1/2 cup of wet ingredients.  Tomorrow the students will share and taste the cobbler with their classmates.
