We spent a wonderful morning at the Forest Ecology Center! We began our visit at the Pavilion with Daisy Griffin, educational director. She gave a presentation about Marvelous Mammals. We learned about the unique characteristics of mammals and the diversity of this class of animals. We were able to touch many different animal pelts and to play with the large collection of animal puppets. After the presentation, we headed to the playground where we had a snack and some free time. It was a great trip!
Everyone is invited to come out to the Forest Ecology Center this evening at 5:30 for a Raptor Release. Meet at the Pavilion.
