About this event:
Flu season is expected to begin in early January 2018 and peak in the middle of February 2018. Please ensure that you and your children maintain consistent PROPER hand washing practices, before and after every meal, after using the restroom, after wiping noses, coming into the house from being outside, after playing with animals.
If you have to use medicines to lower your child’s temperature, sooth a sore throat, suppress a cough, stop a runny nose (unless it’s allergy related), sooth an upset stomach etc. your child should not be at school. A sick child will not benefit from being anywhere else but at home. A sick child requires mental and physical rest as well as proper nourishment and care.
