We had a wonderful morning at Cambridge Place. All of the children worked diligently to prepare for today. They began 2 weeks ago by mixing, kneading, cutting, painting and tying their salt dough valentines necklaces. These necklaces spent at least 8 hours in the oven, Thanks Ms. Jennifer. The children spend the past 6 weeks practicing their songs and their February poem. They also spent time thinking and practicing behaviors that are appropriate for public events. I’d like to commend the students who graciously agreed in giving other children an opportunity to share in this experience. Today’s group represented their friends and teachers with humility and courage, they offered our gifts with grace and shared their songs with joy. Thank you all for supporting the children at The Children’s House.
